Spoon’s upcoming album, Transference[due on January 19th], will feature a photo taken by William Eggleston > Sumner, Mississippi (1970).
It’s not the first time Eggleston‘s work made an album cover > Perhaps his best known cover is the image adorning Big Star ‘s Radio City which dates from 1974, when both Eggleston and Big Star were not well known at all outside their local Memphis scene.
